My experience with Boer goats is new, however, my life with goats started back in the stone age with my mother's licensed raw milk goat dairy in Pennsylvania in 1967.
The Boer experience started with the purchase of a couple quality brood does from the Spotted Dog herd of NancyJoy Craig of Kimberly, Idaho. I just wanted 2.…six years later… well, you know the story! Now there are goats everywhere!
My primary goals are honesty and customer satisfaction.
Next is to breed a self sufficient, hardy animal able to kid and care for those kids with little or no human assistance while producing an animal with strong feet and legs and width from muzzle to tail. To do this I am working with some of the proven bloodlines of: Kaptain, Sumo. Tarzan, Oscar, Mojo Magic, Ryals Magnum, and Pipeline. Some newer ones : Rugar, Brass Shot, Downen Hustler ,2 DOX Amigo, War Paint, Studley Dudley and T4 Scorpio, just to name a few.
Due to limited space, my herd must stay small, so I am focused on quality, not quantity. Which means there is usually something for sale.
